Managing Life Transitions
Managing Life Transitions may be offered as a one and a half hour interactive workshop or an hour presentation.
The Second Half Connections facilitator introduces a practical guide or map for moving through change. This guide highlights three phases we experience when our external world shifts and we are required to give up what is familiar in favor of the unknown. As these phases are introduced, participants are introduced to specific concrete tasks that they can do for themselves to let go of what used to be and embrace what is new.
Participants are encouraged to share their experiences with one another and incorporate their understanding of the transition steps necessary to ease adjustment to the life changes that invariably characterize all of our lives.
